Moxie and Me is a playful puppet show for preschoolers that brings learning to life through storytelling, songs, and childlike wonder. Each episode features Moxie—a curious,  imaginative 3-year-old puppet—exploring big feelings, asking big questions about Jesus, and social skills in a way little ones can understand and relate to.

​

Guided by her grown-up friend (that’s me!), Moxie navigates the ups and downs of preschool life with lots of questions, creativity, and her trusty comfort object always close by. It’s silly, heartfelt, and packed with teachable moments—perfect for home or classroom use!

Together, we:

• Practice asking questions and making friends

• Talk about feelings and how to handle them

• Use imagination to build confidence and curiosity​​

  I Wonder....

​

 " I Wonder...."  is our special series of activities, mini episodes, and printable fun that encourages kids to:

​

• know Jesus on a personal level

• Express themselves through play

• Build empathy, inquisitiveness, and self-awareness

Because, the best way to understand the world… is to talk to Jesus about it.

 Rooted In Reading

Rooted in Reading is a free early literacy program created to help young learners build strong reading foundations through play, repetition, and meaningful connection. Designed for preschool and early elementary children, this program gently introduces letter sounds, letter names, and early letter formation in a way that honors each child’s pace and learning style.

​

Moxie, our playful puppet friend, appears in the instructional video lessons, guiding children through each activity, modeling curiosity, and making learning engaging, relatable, and fun.

​

At the heart of Rooted in Reading is the belief that the gift of reading opens the door to lifelong learning—and to the ability to one day read the Bible independently. Each lesson nurtures confidence, patience, and curiosity, helping children grow not only as readers, but as learners rooted in truth and love.

Instruction is developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and supportive of all learners, including those who benefit from extra time, movement, or repetition. Rooted in Reading is guided by faith-centered values and created by an experienced early childhood educator who understands that strong foundations are built gently and intentionally.
