Our Story and Mission

Welcome to The Learning Boutique!

​The Learning Boutique was born from a lifelong passion for early childhood education and creative play, but more importantly, from a deep desire to glorify Jesus through the work of teaching and serving children. After years of experience as a preschool teacher, paraprofessional, childcare owner, and earning a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, I thought I understood what education was all about. But it wasn’t until I came to know Jesus that I realized the true purpose of learning—to point little hearts and minds back to Him.

In my own journey, I’ve seen the amazing power of His love and teachings in the classroom: how kindness softens hearts, how patience builds trust, and how joy fills learning with light. The Learning Boutique was created as a way to reflect that love—to serve children, families, and educators through joyful, meaningful, Christ-centered experiences.

Here you’ll find a colorful and nurturing space offering a Christian Show, handmade early learning materials, Heartskills: Circle Time with Puppet Pals ~ Social Emotional Learning Lessons & Services, and a vibrant resource hub for educators through Moxie’s Teaching Toolbox—all designed with the heart of Jesus at the center.

Every lesson, craft, and resource is not just about education, but about planting seeds of love, wonder, and truth. My prayer is that The Learning Boutique will be a place where families and teachers alike see His goodness in every detail, and where children can grow not only in knowledge, but also in grace.

Meet Moxie!

​

Moxie is our lovable puppet and preschool pal—a spirited 3-year-old who is curious, imaginative, and full of heart. Moxie helps little learners navigate their world with imagination, empathy, and a big love for stickers and dinosaurs! Whether she’s exploring the world around her, asking questions, or making friends, Moxie brings peace education based on the teachings of Jesus Christ to life in our lessons, YouTube videos, and printable activities.

Moxie also has a special imaginary friend named Snugglebug who joins in on the adventures, reminding children that creativity and connection are always welcome here.
