Our Story and Mission

Welcome to The Learning Boutique – where imagination meets education!

​

Born from a lifelong passion for early childhood education and creative play, The Learning Boutique was founded to support children, families, and educators through joyful, meaningful learning experiences. After years of working as a preschool teacher, paraprofessional, and childcare owner, and holding a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, I saw firsthand the power of play-based, inclusive learning—and I wanted to bring that magic to life in a new way.

That’s how The Learning Boutique came to be—a colorful, nurturing space offering Zoom preschool classes, handmade early learning materials, learning support assistant (LSA) services, and a vibrant resource hub for educators through Moxie’s Teaching Toolbox.

Meet Moxie!

​

Moxie is our lovable puppet and preschool pal—a spirited 3-year-old who is curious, neurodivergent, and full of heart. Moxie helps little learners navigate their world with imagination, empathy, and a big love for stickers! Whether she’s exploring numbers, asking questions, or making friends, Moxie brings play-based learning to life in our lessons, YouTube videos, and printable activities.

Moxie also has a special imaginary friend named Snugglebug who joins in on the adventures, reminding children that creativity and connection are always welcome here.
