An Important Update: Join Us on The Moxie and Me Show!

Over the past several months, The Learning Boutique has been growing, changing, and seeking direction from the Lord. As we continue this journey, we want to share an important update with our readers and supporters.

After much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, we are shifting our focus away from detailed daily written Rooted in Reading lesson posts and toward creating and sharing video content through The Moxie and Me Show on YouTube.

This change is not because we value literacy any less. In fact, our mission remains the same: helping children grow in their love of learning while pointing little hearts toward Jesus. The difference is simply the format through which we will be sharing these lessons.

Through The Moxie and Me Show, families, educators, and children will be able to access:

• Rooted in Reading video lessons

• Preschool literacy activities

• Letter and sound adventures

• Interactive story times

• Preschool conversations about the Living Word of God

• Social-emotional learning through Heart Skills

• Short reels that encourage faith, learning, and character development

• Episodes featuring Moxie as she learns, grows, and follows Jesus

We believe the Lord is opening doors for us to reach more children and families through video, allowing learning and Scripture to come alive in a way that is engaging and accessible.

Because of this shift, you may notice fewer daily Rooted in Reading lesson posts appearing here on the blog. Rather than attempting to duplicate every lesson in written form, we will be directing much of our energy toward creating meaningful video content and resources.

That does not mean this blog is going away.

From Playroom to Classroom will continue to be a place where we share thoughtful articles and reflections on topics such as:

• Parenting

• Early childhood education

• Child development

• Faith and learning

• Social-emotional growth

• Family engagement

• Encouraging children to know and follow Jesus

These longer-form posts allow us to explore important topics that support parents, caregivers, educators, and ministries serving young children.

We invite you to subscribe to The Moxie and Me Show and join us as we continue this adventure. Whether through a story time, a preschool conversation about Scripture, a literacy lesson, or a Heart Skills episode, our prayer remains the same: that children would grow in wisdom, love, and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
