From Playroom to Classroom ~ A Walking Testimony: What the Lord Has Done This Week

This week has not just been productive—it has been purposeful. Every step, every conversation, every quiet moment has reminded me that when we walk with the Lord, nothing is ordinary. It all becomes part of a greater story He is writing.

The Lord has been teaching me something powerful: truth is not just something we hear—it is something we use. Truth is a weapon. When spiritual warfare comes, it is not enough to simply know what is right—we must speak it, stand on it, and believe it. I am learning that truth works hand in hand with praise.

When I praise God while standing on His truth, something shifts. Fear loses its grip. Confusion clears. Peace steps in.

This week, I’ve also been given beautiful opportunities to share the Gospel in simple, natural ways—through conversations, through kindness, and even through the work I’m doing with puppet shows. What started as creating something for children is becoming something bigger—an open door to connect, to encourage, and to plant seeds of truth. Along the way, I’ve made new connections and friendships that I truly believe were God-ordained.

Balancing work and home hasn’t been perfect, but it has been guided. I’ve felt the Lord helping me stay grounded, reminding me that I don’t have to strive—I just have to stay aligned. In the middle of it all, I’ve been able to spend time in the Word, not just reading, but understanding. Scripture is coming alive in new ways, and I’m beginning to know The Holy Spirit not just as a concept, but as a true Helper, Teacher, and Guide.

One of the biggest shifts this week has been in my focus. The Lord is teaching me to keep my eyes on eternal rewards, not earthly ones. It’s so easy to measure success by numbers, responses, or recognition—but God is reminding me that obedience, faithfulness, and heart posture matter far more. What is done for Him will last.

Out of that obedience, I stepped into something new—starting a Facebook group to share free resources for those who work with young children, homeschool, or simply want to pour into the next generation. It’s a small beginning, but it’s rooted in a big purpose: to serve, to equip, and to give freely what God has given to me. Seeing others join and support it has been such an encouragement.

But above all, the greatest blessing this week has been this:

I get to be a living testimony.

Not a perfect one. Not one that has it all together. But one that is breathing, moving, growing, and being transformed daily by the grace of God.

This week reminded me that God is not distant—He is active. He is speaking. He is guiding. He is providing. And He is using ordinary moments to accomplish extraordinary things.

If there’s one thing I’m holding onto, it’s this:

My life is not just something I live—it’s something that can point others to Him.

And that is more valuable than anything this world could ever offer.
