Look at What Abba Has Done!

"Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."— Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
There are moments in our walk with Christ when we pause—not to admire what we have accomplished—but to marvel at what the Lord has accomplished in us.
As I reflect on this season of my life, I can honestly say, look at what the Lord has done. The greatest miracle isn't found in a business, a ministry, or even new opportunities. The greatest miracle is what God continues to do inside my heart.
For so many years, I held tightly to my own plans. I had dreams, ideas, and a vision for how I thought things should unfold. While many of those desires weren't bad, the Father has been gently teaching me that His plans are always better than my own.
The more I surrender my vision, the more clearly I begin to see His.
I've discovered that letting go isn't losing—it's gaining. When I release control into the Father's hands, He opens my eyes to a purpose that is far greater than anything I could have imagined.
His plan is perfect.
A Purer Heart to Serve
One of the greatest blessings God has given me is not simply new direction, but a purer heart.
The Lord has been teaching me to serve without offense, without striving, and without seeking recognition.
Instead, He is growing within me:
A heart that forgives quickly.
A spirit that encourages others.
A posture of humility.
A desire to serve simply because I love Him.
The closer I walk with Jesus, the more I realize that ministry isn't about building something for myself. It's about allowing Christ to build His character within me.
When our hearts become pure before Him, serving others becomes an act of worship rather than obligation.
Learning to Know the Father as Abba
Perhaps the sweetest part of this journey has been growing closer to the Father—not only knowing Him as God, but knowing Him as Abba.
Abba is a name of intimacy.
It reminds me that I am not simply working for God—I am walking with my Father.
He lovingly corrects me.
He patiently teaches me.
He comforts me.
He leads me.
Every day He invites me deeper into relationship with Him.
The more I know the Father's heart, the more I desire to reflect the heart of His Son.
Praying for the Mind of Christ
One prayer has become increasingly precious to me:
"Father, give me the mind of Jesus."
I want my thoughts to reflect His truth.
I want my words to bring life.
I want my actions to demonstrate His love.
I want my heart to remain teachable, humble, and obedient.
This transformation isn't something I can accomplish on my own. It is the Holy Spirit faithfully completing the good work that God began.
That is the beautiful promise found in Philippians 1:6.
God is not finished with us.
He is still shaping.
Still refining.
Still healing.
Still teaching.
Still preparing.
Every challenge, every correction, every unanswered prayer, and every unexpected blessing is another part of His perfect work.

A Prayer
Dear Heavenly Abba ,
Thank You for never giving up on me!
Thank You for continuing the work You began in my heart.
Create in me a pure heart that serves without offense, encourages others with love, and walks in humility.
Help me surrender my own plans so I can fully embrace Yours.
Open my eyes to Your perfect will and teach me to trust Your timing.
Draw me closer to You each day so I may know You more deeply as my loving Father.
Give me the mind of Christ.
Help me think like Jesus, love like Jesus, forgive like Jesus, and serve like Jesus.
May everything I do bring glory to You alone.
Thank You for reminding me that You are still working in me every single day.
In the precious name of Jesus,
